Tickets Now Live for This Year's Hair of the Dog

Tickets are now on sale for the 2026 Hair of the Dog, returning to Gundagai Race Course on Saturday, 14 November 2026.

Following the excitement of the Snake Gully Cup, Hair of the Dog keeps the racing action going with another great day of country racing in Gundagai. Expect an up-close racing experience, a relaxed country atmosphere and options ranging from a casual day trackside to catered corporate hospitality.

The seven-race program is headlined by the Hair of the Dog Cup, a Benchmark 66 Handicap contested over 1800 metres with $34,000 in prize money. The program also features Country Boosted races, sprint events and a mix of handicap and maiden racing throughout the day.

Gather your friends and make a weekend of it in Gundagai, with two fantastic days of country racing across the Snake Gully Cup Carnival.
